I can best describe myself as a crazy hairdresser of 25 years and a "REAGAN" Conservative. I love God, Country, Family, and Life in general! Oh! I can't forget my dog who always watches out for me!

I have spoken out very vehemently against Government Run Health Care. This is a very personal agenda for me because I directly related to Canadian Health Care. In 1925 my grandmother came over the border from Canada into Buffalo, New York to give birth to my father. It was going to be a difficult birth and my grandmother knew that she would have a much better chance of delivering a healthy baby in the U.S.A. where even then we had the best health care in the world! Even at that time Canadian Health Care was not great. My father was born on New Year's eve in 1925. He was brought up in Canada and when he was 15 he lied about his age and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served in the RCAF at the end of WW11. When he was 21 he had to choose between being a citizen of Canada or one of USA. Until that time he had dual citizenship. It was at that time he became a "true" American and joined the United States Marine Corps where he went on to serve in Korea in Special OPS. In 1955 he was medically discharged and we came to live in San Diego, California where I have lived since the age of 6 months. When I was 7 Daddy became homesick and wanted to go home to Canada. So my family made the trip, trailer in tow, and moved to Hamilton, Ontario. I was enrolled in a private school along with my older brother. My younger brother was 3 and critically ill with asthma and the Canadian doctors had no clue how to treat him. They eventually told my parents to take him home to die. Needless to say, we returned to San Diego, the good old USA. Today my younger brother is 50 years old. Considering he was barely 2 lbs. at birth and had numerous serious medical problems, I have to give credit and thanks to God that he was born in the USA right hers at "Sharps Hospital" in San Diego. That is "Rady's Children's Hospital" today. My brother is a highly trained CSI Evidence Investigator and very much a contributing member of society. He may have to babysit an awful lot of dead bodies and attend an untold amount of autopsies but his work is imperative to solving crimes and eventually putting the "bad guys" away! Would he be alive today under a Government Run Health Care Program where he may have not been worth saving at birth? Hey Jonny-I Love You!
