a lighter note

Greetings!
Today I woke up fondly remembering my many years as a cosmetologist/hairdresser. Last night when I finally turned my brain off long enough to sleep for 20 minutes I actually began to dream. I found myself back in the salon and I could actually smell all the chemicals I had become so familiar with over the years. In my dream I was rolling perms, doing color weaves, and designing new and exciting haircuts.
I guess it seems rather schizophrenic of me that, on the one hand, I would be involved in this crazy, creative world of hairdressing, and on the other hand have such a conservative view of life itself. But that's what "freedom of ezpression" is all about. Whether it be that wild, pink, punk, spiked mohawk or that "high and tight" the local Marine may ask for, we are free to do what ever the client might want. This is true in so many aspects of our lives. We can be liberal and at the same time be very conservative. That's what makes this country great!
I think most of us want to keep the freedom's we have in this country thanks to our founding fathers and our men and women in uniform. No matter which way we happen to express ourselves let's DEMAND OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO DO IT!
