dr p

Today I see yet another doctor! This one happens to be my favorite. Dr.Putnam has been my Primary Care Physician almost as long as he has been a doctor. He and I share common views on every thing. He is very conservative, a believer in the sanctity of life and that every one has the right tO LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS! He is incredibly devoted to his patients, working tirelessly from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. @ night. Yet even with these long hours he is a family man to the end. He has a daughter who plays champion tennis and a son who is on the Oakland A's teem in California. I remember when his son Danny was playing in the little league and Dr.P still found the time to coach the teem! I would always get nauseous before it was going to rain so Dr.P would call me for the weather report. That way he would know if the game was going to be rained out. Seldom was I wrong, and I was definitely more accurate than the news!
There have been so many times when I have gone to see Dr.P after some major medical crisis and I've been away for so long he things I left him. Usually, at least in the past the ER doctors don't seem to communicate to well with Dr.P so it's "after the fact" that he finds out I've had another "brush with death!" Today is one of those days. 2 weeks ago when my infusion pump with all of my pain meds in it malfunctioned I Over-dosed! I am lucky to be alive, but then I believe this is my 4th resurrection! I can't wait to see his face when he hears this "whopper!" As always he knows that it is my faith in God That keeps me going 'cuz I guess he just hasn't finished with me yet! So today when I see him bearing the scars from my wound he will probably just shake his head with a look of amazement in his eyes and welcome me back with open arms!

  1. Dr. Putnam is the best! Thanks so much for hooking Beckie and I up with him! If only there was a way to clone him, we need more primary care doctors like him!
