Tonight I saw an advertisement for VIAGRA in which they asked the question, "have you had your VIAGRA TALK with YOUR doctor?" Apparently 2 million men have already done just that. As I watched the advertisement I found myself talking to the television and saying, "MY DOG DUSTY HAS!"
The last time I was down at UCSD MEDICAL CENTER for an appointment I was sharing her story with the staff and they were all pretty hysterical. But then the charge nurse, Laura, walked in and wanted to know what we were all laughing about. After explaining Dusty's story I told her that since I had lung problems I was going to be first in line for the human trials. That's when she informed us that this was not a new concept. She told us that UCSD had been conducting human trials for the last 5 years! So I decided to do a little investigation.
In 1985 researchers for the drug company PFIZER were looking for a new drug that would act as a vasodilator for the arteries, or in other words, open a clogged artery up. That is when they discovered VIAGRA. This new drug would lower blood pressure and reduce strain on the heart. As the trials continued they discovered the drug had an unusual side effect. Some men were having unexpected erections. That is how VIAGRA came to be used for erectile dysfunction.
Recently researchers have returned to the original concept of the drug as a vasodilator. The Veterinarian Dr. Anderson, who takes care of my dog Dusty, talked me into trying it because she has an enlarged heart. The results have been better than we could have ever expected. Not only is VIAGRA a "fountain of youth" for men, it has also done the same for Dusty!
AND NOW, IN THE WORDS OF "PAUL HARVEY," YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY!!!!
