Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson really made an ass out of himself today. He presented his take on the Republicans version of the Health Care Reform Bill to Congress. Fortunately it was picked up by FOX, the only Fair and Balanced News Report, and the American people were able to see him in action! Basically his rendition of the Republican Bill stated that on their plan your ultimate goal should be "TO DIE QUICKLY!" Congressman Grayson also equated America's Health Care System to the HOLOCAUST! I guess to his credit, unlike AHMADINEJAD, Grayson did not flat out deny that the HOLOCAUST never happened. However, to compare our Health Care System to the atrocities the Jews suffered at the hands of the Nazi's is ludicrous and disrespectful to the Jewish people!
I say, "GET A GRIP CONGRESS, your proposal for Health Care Reform is DEAD IN THE WATER!" THE AMERICAN POPLE HAVE SPOKEN, LOUDLY!!! 85% of us want to keep the health insurance we have now. We are more than happy with our present Doctors. We Seniors don't want you ravaging the Medicare System to pay for Illegal Immigrants who come here and expect our Government, the TAXPAYERS, to pick up the tab every time they get a runny nose, especially when they are BREAKING THE LAW by being here in the first place!
As a YOUNG Senior, who happens to have a chronic health condition, I want to know that my fate will be decided between my doctor, my clergyman, my family, and myself. Not by some bureaucratic life and death panel! I want to be able to have that MRI when my doctor feels I need it. If I need a hip replacement I don't want to hear that I'm not worthy of it any more. If there is a life saving procedure that I can take advantage of to extend my time here on earth I don't want to be told I have already lived long enough! In other words, let me enjoy my Constitutional Right to LIFE!
