It's almost 1:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14,2009 and I can't seem to turn off my brain! I am really bothered by this situation concerning Congressman Joe Wilson's "faux paux" during Obama's address to the Congress on his Health Care Reform Proposal. As I said in a previous post I realize that it really wasn't the time nor the place to be "heckling" the president, however Wilson quickly sent an apology to Obama and the president promptly accepted it. Now the Dem's in Congress have decided they want an apology ALSO, and if Wilson refuses then he will be brought to the floor and "scolded" like a child. When I think of this happening, the picture of Pontius Pilate deciding the fate of Jesus in front of an angry mob of the Jews comes vividly to mind. I can just see "Madam" Pelosi looking down at Congressman Wilson with her out-stretched arm aimed and pointing with daggers in her eyes, and handing out some kind of disciplinary action while the "angry mob of congressional democrats" look on. I'm sure that in some of their twisted minds they will be chanting "cane him!" It brings me to the question, " who is she to judge anyone?", given her track record for telling the truth!
But here's the one thing! Congressman Wilson's outburst did bring to light the American people's concerns over the issue of Illegal Immigrants, and the MAIN STREAM MEDIA was forced to bring the subject into their own "Superior?" broadcasting! Now it looks as though this is one problem that actually may be given some serious and much needed attention!
