What happened to history & Civics Classes?

SOME NOTES OF IMPORTANCE


On September 8, 2009, President Obama is going to address YOUR CHILDREN on their first day of school. And most public schools will be televising it. Teachers have been given lesson plans to follow and work sheets to pass out for the children to fill out with questions such as, “What can you do to help the President?” and “How has President Obama inspired me?” among others. The President has even suggested the children make posters with their answers to these questions on them so they can be displayed in the class rooms.
If this isn’t indoctrination of the worst kind?! I don’t understand this forced manipulation upon our youngest of citizens. Radical Liberals have been pushing their way into our school system since I was a child. What a way to introduce “Socialism” into our society by using our children as their unwitting pawns! Now supposedly viewing this speech is optional but knowing how liberal so many teachers are and how far left the unions lean to, do you really think your child’s school is going to NOT show this speech? How GULLIBLE and STUPID does this administration really believe we the American people are?!!!
When I heard about this insane program I was reminded of the young people sporting military style dress marching through the streets of China showing that the government is in control at all times and communism is the accepted way of life. I wonder with all this talk of an “AMERI-COR” that Obama is constantly hyping, if our young people are going to end up being used in this same way, to start a “home town” militia in which to show a little muscle against the American people. I envision them marching military style through our streets letting every one know that “Big Brother” is in control.
Is HITLER being re-incarnated?
It’s time for us to start teaching children about the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and a little bit of what we used to call “CIVICS” classes again. These kids need to understand how they got their freedoms, why we have our freedoms, and a little history about this great nation we call “AMERICA.” They need to realize that they are free to express themselves in any way, for any party, because our ancestors stood up and demanded these rights. If we don’t start teaching them these things we stand to lose everything our fore- fathers fought to achieve!
