Was this Rev. Jim Baker Speaking?

I was on my way home from yet another doctor's appointment when the President began his last ditch effort to sell his Health Care Reform Package to not only the Congress, but the "angry mobs" of the American people. I could hear the ebb and flow of his charismatic voice speaking to all as if he was a big minister at a stadium full of people engaging in an old time "Baptist tent revival." I did notice however, that he actually stumbled over parts of his speech in portions when the response from the Congress wasn't quite what he wanted it to be. In fact, I believe he was really thrown a "curve" when he was heckled by Congressman Wilson calling him a "liar" when the President said the plan "absolutely would Not cover "illegal aliens!" Maybe to most this was disrespectful to the President, and certainly not the place to express himself , but I applaud Congressman Wilson for having the balls to speak the truth! I am well aware, as I am sure most of you are, that any person, no matter what their legal status is, at this time they are able to walk into any emergency room and be treated for anything from a little cough to a major medical emergency. In California this is a very large part, say 90%, of the reason our state is bankrupt!
The President also even took some politicians to task for spreading "vicious rumors" regarding "end of life counseling or death panels." Yet these very issues are addressed in section 1233, pg 425-430 of HR3200. Doctors would be paid to counsel the elderly regarding what course of treatment they would be taking through out their "Golden Years." This would be routinely done every 5 years
President Obama also addressed "government funded abortion." He said "It will NOT, I repeat, NOT be covered" under the Government plan. However, unless this is stated, which it is not, in the bill, then by not saying anything it is kind of like a double negative. That makes a positive obviously, and if it is not in the bill, then by the specific act of exclusion it HAS to be covered!
Obama also really tried to hit hard at the seniors who are Medicare recipients and the way that the plan has been represented with "bold face lies" and mis-information along with "extreme" scare tactics. But he then goes on to talk about how this plan would be paid for through "savings" in Medicare costs. This is pure "double speak." If he will be cutting so called waste involving unneeded tests and other diagnostics then in effect he is talking about RATIONING! Will this patient be worth the cost of the test, the surgery, the hip replacement, your Grandmother's Alzheimer's care, etc., etc., etc.?
In chronically ill patients such as myself, (I have MS among other problems), will "I" be worth the cost of treating especially since I am medically retired due to the fact I am disabled?
The President did bring up the high cost of liability insurance for doctors due to frivolous law suits and he received an astounding positive reaction from what seemed to be most of the Congress. But will he "Bite the Hand that Feeds Him," in the case of contributions in the millions from the trial attorneys?!!!!
He did not address intrastate purchasing of insurance for Health Care fashioned after the way we can purchase automobile insurance. However the President did say that everyone is required to buy auto insurance and therefore the same should apply to Health Care. But people are not cars! That's like comparing apples to oranges and that argument doesn't hold water.
Another situation involving young people not feeling the need for health care insurance came up. Now we all know that the young feel they are invincible, but this Congressional Committee hammering out this proposal is talking about fining people on their taxes for choosing not to purchase health insurance. I don't seem to find this any where in the Constitution.
Employers who do not cover their employees would also be faced with an 8% fine. This in effect would send the employee into a "government option" and therein lies the "TRIGGER" to a SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM. Now we have gone full circle back to the Government Take Over of our entire Health Care System and as Lenin said, "The fastest way to to Socialism is to Socialize the Health Care System of any nation." IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IS WHAT THE PRESIDENT AND HIS CRONIES HAD IN MIND ALL ALONG!!!!
