'WHO IS JOHN GALT?'

When I was at the tender young age of 16 I saw a bumper sticker that said "WHO IS JOHN GALT?" Naturally my curiosity was piqued so I pestered my father until he finally turned to me and said, "If you really want to know you will have to read 'AYN RAND'S' book 'ATLAS SHRUGGED'." I was an avid reader so I got the book and pretty much buried myself in it for a few days. It wasn't hard to do because the book was written in fiction form. However, ever since the day I finished the book I have watched that fictional story coming true! It seems to be accelerating at a faster pace more and more each year. NOW it's getting SCARY! In the book America is brought down by an administration hell-bent on CHANGING AMERICA!!
The true CAPATALIST'S who helped make America into the greatest nation on earth eventually find themselves a place to retreat to and start over again. Only the best and the brightest thinker's, the most dedicated artist's, and the people who love God, Country, Family, and Freedom first are even considered for entrance into the new world. These free thinkers would basically go back to what our fore-fathers meant for this country to be fashioned after. THE CONSTITUTION- A FREE MARKET- AND THE FREEDOMS that were suppose to enforced. If you work hard, use your brains, have common sense and a respect for LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, you could be very comfortable in this new world. Money would not be of the paper we are used to. They would be going back to the gold standard and that would be your only purchasing power. IS ANY OF THIS STARTING TO SOUND THE LEAST BIT FAMILIAR?
I say "Ask Yourself?" - Do you want to be an American? If you happen to be an immigrant, "did you come here for a better life?" If you didn't then just maybe you would feel better going home. Used to be when you became a citizen you had to learn the history of our nation and also the English language. Watch some of the old movies and you will see people who are trying to become citizens working hard to know what our country stands for and learning to appreciate what it means to be an American.
For others who just happen to be born here and have decided that America doesn't fit in to their ideologies, then maybe you should find a country that does, and feel free to leave!
PLEASE! I LOVE MY COUNTRY, MY FREEDOMS, MY LIFE (even handicapped, thank you very much!), and I DON'T NEED YOU TO TAKE EVERYTHING I HAVE WORKED FOR AND EVERYTHING I HAVE LOVED ALL OF MY LIFE AWAY FROM ME!!!
